Job description

You’re a developer who thinks in solutions, spots details others miss, and gets excited about building things that are both smart and beautiful. You bring:

• In-depth knowledge of PHP and MySQL (or similar database systems)

• Experience with modern PHP frameworks like Laravel or Yii 2

• Solid understanding of OOP, input validation, and API structures

• Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JS (ES6)

• Some familiarity with frontend frameworks like Vue.js or React

• Comfort working in the command line and with CI tools

• A strong sense of code quality, structure, and version control (yes, we use Git)

• A collaborative, proactive mindset and a user-first approach

• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English

• An understanding that Copilot is your helper — not your source of truth

Nice to have::

• Experience with React Native or mobile development

• Familiarity with animation libraries like GSAP

• A healthy dislike of jQuery and FTP

• Knowledge of modern bundlers like Webpack or Parcel

• Knowledge of module bundling with tools like webpack or parcel.js

• Experience with cross-browser testing and debugging

• You enjoy writing unit tests and clean documentation

• A pug, honey badger, or other amazing pet

Your role

• Build smooth, responsive frontend interfaces (web and mobile)

• Develop backend solutions that support rich frontend experiences

• Prototype quickly, think creatively, and help solve complex challenges

• Collaborate closely with designers, developers, and motion specialists

This role is based in our office in Sittard (NL), and we ask that you're able to join us on-site at least two days a week.
To work well with the team and our clients, you’ll also need to speak Dutch or already be actively learning it.
